Hello Ladies! It’s been some time since I’ve done a make up review so I thought I’d do a quick one on the ever popular Naked 2 palette. There’s a whole list of good things to say about this essential palette starting from, well, how the colours in the palette are really easy to wear and super versatile.
Although I have had this palette since Christmas, I did my first smokey eye following Youtube tutorials only yesterday. Today I decided to DIY a Silver to Gray Ombre look because I happened to have an entire free afternoon to myself.
For this look, I used Foxy mixed with Bootycall, Verve, YDK, Busted and a tiny little bit of Blackout. It was incredibly simple to do and I’m happy with how it turned out.
My only problem with the Naked palette is that I don’t find its pigmentation fantastic… which is why I intend to purchase MAC’s fix plus since so many bloggers/ youtubers rave about its magical ability to enhance eyeshadow colours. This Silver to Gray Ombre eyes turned out to be pretty strong, so I used less foundation and went for a nude lip colour with MAC’s Velvet Teddy.
