Hola chicas!

Quick post on a lovely cape romper today. Rompers are ubiquitous in street style especially in a country that enjoys (or not) a full year of summer. This romper takes simplicity to a whole new level of elegance by integrating a cape in it – probably the most unthinkable combination that worked out oh-so-beautifully. Without the belt, I must admit it can come across as if there’s something missing – so accessorizing is a must with this outfit.

When I think of accessorizing, the firstΒ  brand that comes to mind is Lovisa. Lovia just never lets down with quality pieces that are largely affordable. As the cape can make the outfit appear harsh, I played it down with metallic sandals.

On another note, I’m off to an amazing adventure tonight. It’s slightly scary because it’s the first time I’m traveling alone. But I guess there’s a first time for everything!

Again on a separate note, I just wanna say that truly the people whom you think love you the most, will most definitely hurt you the most with their words and actions. It is amazing how people can take you to granted to such an extent. This is why, girls – never, ever, ever, think that you can rely on one person for anything at all. Not even if that person portays it in such a way to you. Depend on yourself – you are your bestest best friend.

Cape romper / Love, Bontio

Headband / Lovisa

Sandals / Charles and Keith

P.S. My hand is sweeping my hair back in all the pictures thanks to the wind! Embarrassing. Hahaha.
